Keali`iahonui

Youngest son of King Kaumuali‘i and Kapuaamohu

Kealiiahonui was the youngest son of King Kaumuali‘i and Kapuaamohu. He was born in 1812 and was known for his intelligence and leadership skills. He was groomed to be the future ruler of Kaua'i and Ni'ihau, and was prepared to take on this role in the event that his older brother Humehume did not return home. Kealiiahonui was well-respected by his people and was known for his fair and just rule. He was also a strong advocate for education and was instrumental in bringing Christian missionaries to the islands, which helped to modernize and westernize Hawaiian society. Despite his youth, Keali`iahonui was a formidable leader and played a key role in shaping the future of the Hawaiian Islands.
